Apologies if ive already posted. but sure i havent

Well been a while. cars been under cover for a few months while waiting for a few issues to be cleared up. A few weeks back it went for its mot and failed miserably on emmisions. 7.4 on the Co meter. Anyhow took it back for its retest and took the laptop down. A few seconds of fiddling with the fuel map it was down to 2.3 which was well within the 4.5 region needed. (put it back to normal once the tester said yes thats fine) lol!
Its been down to jamsport in northants for its base / running in map. Thats all sorted and now it starts and drives as it should.
And finally went to tax it a week back. then realised the woman in the post office had given me a disc that starts from this friday (september) as oppose this month!! dohhhh!!!!
Anyhow car finally hits the road friday *touch wood* without problems. luckily working later of the night so less traffic on the road so i can take it easy. Took it to a private industrial just to try things out and the paddle clutch is a touch harsh to say the least and the new plate diff clanks like a good un!! forgot how tooth shaking these things are' But that sound of the sccr gears is still a joy!!. But even with it rev limited to 4k and on a run in map it feels quite a bit more livelier than the carbs. So looking forward to it.
Once ive got a few hundred on it ' its back of to jamsport to finish it of and then start experimenting with the nitrous . (oh dear)
Will get a few updated pictures soon but the latest i had were these.

looks rather sexy, i know what you mean about the lovely rattling and paddle clutch. I drive mine everyday and its not fun when your stuck in traffic, trying to slowly bring the clutch up wiht out slaming into the car in front lol.

Also again whats its like with gear stick like that, i considered doing something similiar on the corsa but didnt get round to it.

Those were the days breeny! the days it worked. :)

Altho unfortuantly my heart is slowly being pulled away from the nova. Im really considering another route. Altho the nova should be around for a while yet. :)
