i've had to replace 2 engine mounts in the past 4 months can you get uprated ones if so who and how much??

yes you can, i got mine free from burgo,

my engine seams to rock the car now tho lol

Or ... you can make your own, on the 2 front mounts i chopped up some old poly bushes in to small bits then wedged them in the the gaps in the mount, then filled them with Tiger Seal to hold them all in.
Then made (had a mate make) a rear mount from a Poly rear beam mount !!

They pretty it much hold the LET & F28 solid, only cost about a total of ?15 !!

New standard ones will be fine for a 1.2. remember, the last novas made are about 13 years old. all of their engine mounts are probably worn by now

R1CH that home brew mount looks ace!

Agree std (new ones) should cope with everything really as all mounts accross GM's range are prety similar. Its more to do with how old they have got. Ive got some newish GM ones that Ive inserted a few M10 stainless nuts & then filled in with gasket sealer. Nice & stiff.

If the mounts are too stiff like the TAS ones for example, you get a lot of vibration within the bodyshell. Fine for track boys etc but maybe annoying if your nuts & bolts keep rattling loose.
