If an SR has a manual choke, is it a fair guess its got a Weber 32/34 carb?

hmmmm
The Pierburg is auto choke. This SR Ive got has a manual choke. I fitted a Weber a few yrs ago & had to install a manual cable etc.

Guess I'll have to have a good look later on. Anyone else??

alot of people change the choke from auto to manual because the auto normally funks up and manual is more relieble.

Think you can get a manual choke conversion for a pierburg carb.

Look under the carb, if its a weber it will have a adaptor plate fitted between the carb and the inlet manifold.

The early 1300SR's used the 1.2 carb, which had a manual choke
