My my, Lynz you really should stop flinging your doors open in parking spaces, Lampost are a right pain when they dent your doors!

so what has a ford and some "kid" got to do with it?
the car looks like you sideways it off the road into a lamp post at a fair old pace.

dunno what happened really:confused: , just driving home in the rain at 4am, listening to oasis and thinking of an excuse to have a few days off work... then woke up to some fella telling me i had crashed my car  but i didn't believe him (the lampost was about an inch away from my face...!!) and my car was wrapped around the lampost, i just asked him if there were any other cars and he said no... phew!!! obviously i couldn't get out of the drivers door (can't imagine why!!) but cos the car was bent the passanger door was open so i managed to climb out that way:thumb: . so i sat on the curb in a storm with a couple of coppers and then the ambulance came... 5 days later and i was finally out of hospital!! so i went on for 2 months wondering how i could have spun it into a lampost that was on my side of the road:tard: ... the roundabout was too far back to have been still going sideways from that... then i got a letter from norwich union saying that their client takes full responsibility:) ... and she was driving a ford Ka so thats why all the hate for fords... that nova was well clean and had a top reg... B117 CAR!! oh and the wheels were just standard vaux ones i dunno what they were off, i have seen them on all sorts corsa b, astras etc...

yeah she got done for failing to report an accident and leaving the scene of an accident, the copper said she was probibly drinking, but obviously theres not much to do when it takes her 2 months to come forward!! and she must have driven back past to get my reg, and left me for the second time... thing is i was k.o'd so she mite have thought the worst and done one. there was china blue paint half way up the lamppost!! and i wasn't too much a lover off the wheels either to be honest...

thats a minimum of 6 points and a hefty fine for her then lol

a mate of mine got screwed over for scuffing someones car in a street of tightly parked cars. He never realised till he got home, he was about to go and report it (you have 24 hours) and the police came to his house and booked him for failiure to report etc... this was 3 hours after the incident lol.

i got done a similar way, i hit a parked car in my works van, left my details and set about sorting recovery out, while i was away the nice chap phoned the police to report the accident as he didnt believe i was insured/was my vehicle, i didnt report the accident because i didnt see the need and i was promptly arrested and charged with failure to report an accident and driving without due care and attention, i got banned for a year, 3 months suspended sentence and a mention in the village newspaper

Thats harsh, though a lesson for the rest of use. Report EVERY accident, even if its small, and you leave your details.

yeah ive learnt my lesson, tbh ive grown-up alot since it happened ill now only be giving my car hell at track days and the like, not on the roads like i used to
