c20xe problem

engine is turning over, very slowly, earth from the alternator is heating up ALOT, all the other earths seem to be okay.

any ideas what could be wrong?

battery was fine when i put it into my other car

try checking your alternator diode that may be faulty..

Have you connected the main earth from the gearbox to the chassis?
