Does anyone know what gearboxes they will have? is it F13?

F13CR (well mine has that anyway and i assume its the standard box...)

Maybe a F10/5

Have a look on the top of it under the selector fork.

or check the end plate (5th gear casing)

just below it on the actual box casing itself will be a stamped/engraved series of numbers/letters (wire brush needed!)

it should read F13CRxxxxxx etc etc (the 1st few digits will determine the gearbox code)

mines got f10, is that a the worst box? which obnes the close ratio?

Have a look at the end of the box, passenger side.
The final drive ratio and CR/WR is stamped there.
