hey, not really looking to sell my car but just after a rough price of what people are willing to pay for it as ive just acquired new job so am considering either keeping the Nova and replacing engine etc. or selling on and buying something else...

I am only the 3rd owner of this vehicle, and still have the original bill of sale, have most recent MOT although the elderly lady who owned it previous didnt realise its beneficial to keep past MOT certificates :wall:

Car has recently undergone a full rebuild with hours and hours of work put in aswell as thousands of pounds worth of parts and labour. Car was bought totally standard and since then has had full bare shell respray aswell as arches rebuilt, new doors, new front wings, new boot etc etc.

Few pics can be found here - http://www.novaload.net/forum/showthread.php?t=66963

MOT January 2007
Tax Dec 2006

Spec:

Engine: 1400 8v, 4 Branch Manifold, Full Stainless Magnex GSi exhaust system, K&N Filter

Engine has done high mileage (141k) but still starts first time etc. as it has never been thrashed by me or previous owners. Recently had new plugs, leads, oil filter, oil change, alternator and starter motor.

Suspension: Lowered 60mm all round on springs, Front Sparco Strut Brace.

Brakes: Front: 2.0 16v 256mm Discs, Pads and Calipers
Rear: Standard SRi Drums

Bodywork: Full bare shell respray in Bright Red with Anthracite Metallic GSi Bumpers, skirts, boot grab handle and door handles. New rust free doors, boot, and front wings fitted before spray. Bonnet and boot debadged. SRi Vinyls removed, door locks removed and smoothed, Zafira clear side repeaters etc.

Interior: Full GSi interior including rear seats, door cards, rear cards and dash. Aftermarket steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake lever Astra GTE digi dash all awaiting to be fitted. Corbeau Carrera recling bucket seats.

Wheels and Tyres: 16" Irmscher Softstars ET49 with near new (less than thousand miles) Falken 195/45/16 tyres.

Car does require small amount of welding to one rear inner arch behind shocker and small amount in engine bay to make mint but exterior is 100% rust free and mint. Not really looking to sell but would be hard to turn down if someone offered enough, just gauging interest on how much people are willing to pay..

Sorry if i dont reply anytime soon as im off on holiday later this evening, many thanks Tom :thumb:

pointless thread unless you state a price around what you are looking for!

thread is an idea of how much people are willing to pay, i wouldnt take anything under a grand as it would be pointless, ive spent over 3 times that.

No offence taken but i havent thrashed it, i use the car every day for work etc. so why would i drive it hard and risk not being able to earn the money that allows me to modify it and live?

I like going quick and i have had some Novas that ive hammered and drove hard day in day out but i cant see the point as its my daily car.
