2.0 16v engine mods

i have a 2.0 16v engine from a astra, up 2 now iv only got a k+n kit and a full stainless exhaust system, just wanted 2 know what other mods can i do, at the moment its showing 145bhp but im aiming for 200 any ideas??

get a race ECU that will put it upto about 170-200ish

Look at SB Developments page and also QED Quorn Engine Developments, Your best options are 45 twin carbs or the better option would be 45 throttle bodies and a new programable engine management.

Plese don't let busses pull out.

145bhp, does that mean u had the ecotec engine as the 2.0L 16v should churn out 150 as standard and 165ish with ur mods! The ecotec is 136bhp as standard! I'm not 100% sure wot the difference is, but im sure the ECU would be different, try the ECU from the C20XE engine, unless some1 tells u there is a big mechanical difference with the ecotec!!

The older XE has an excellent head (loads of potential), the ecotec is pretty poor, as it's designed for emmissions and economy.
