radiator cooling fan sizes...

Anyone happen to know if the cooling fan on a gte/gsi is bigger then that of a lesser model (eg 1.2)?

I bought a new radiator (sold as a gsi one on ebay) but when I try to fit the fan to the back of it it seems too small...

If I line up lugs that the fans cowling slots into on the back of the rad, the top bolt holes are about 1" too short and vice versa if I line up the bolts.

Any help would be good...

Also - anyone got any pics of the back of their rad (those with engines out at the moment can help here...)
