Hi guys and girls after having my rebuild etc my engine bay needs a bit of touching up. So out came the metal polish i have only been at it for a day in the rain so results arnt amazing my cam cover was black now its getting very shiny and i have resprayed my exhaust manifold a nice black with heat resistant paint. but i just dont know what to do to make it look nice. Everyone says it looks good but iam not convinced. Oh and where can i get some exhaust wrap from it looks good and keeps the heat down:thumb:

1600 inlet will do fine but if the ports on the inlet are round and your ports on your head are sqaure (which they are on 1.4s) they will not be very good. Source a 1.3 head or 1.4 sri head with round ports. I went with 1600 head ported and polished (round ports) had it skimmed to get the right compression irmsher inlet manifold (round ports) and newmann road rally cam.

ah right so i cant fit the 1600 inlet in the 1400 head. no worries ill just leave it as standard for now.

Nice, looks much better, how are you using a Irmscher inlet with a 1600 head tho? The only irmscher inlets have cathedral ports not round, or has it been modified?

Looks very clean and tidy :)
