the cars running well shit at the moment its all jerky and we think that it is running on 3 cylinders so could it be:-
loose or dirty plugs?
leads need replacing?
timings out?
or someone said that the fuel filter sometimes need replacing?
or is it something else??
ne help asap would be well good

The best thing you could do is give it a service, new leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm, plugs,air filter, and do the oil and filter while your on.

Plese don't let busses pull out.

I THINK THAT IT COULD THE FUEL FILTER BECAUSE IT FOLLOWS NO PATTEREN AND I AINT SURE WHEN THE OLD FILTER WAS REPLACED
I THINK THAT I WILL ALSO HAVE TO INVEST IN A SERVICE TO

itll be your fuel system that be the problem.

wot u got carb or injection? cause if u got carb itll need cleaning by sounds of things. check the fuel pump first though

arghhhhh! nooooo not the 1.2i

My Dad a heap loads of problems with his 1.2i (driving school car), doing this kind of thing.
It was his injection that was causing it, though I'll have to ask him exactly what it was.

I seem to think it was some small valve that kept sticking? I can't remember.
Like I say...I'll check with him.

Out of all the Nova's my Dad had, his MKII 1.2i was the ONLY one that EVER gave him ANY problems.
