as me airfiler, open K&N, is over the gearbox, iv got a heat sheld around it but no cold air going to it,

so,

is it better to have a 3" cold air feed or 2x 1.5" cold air feeds? lol

get a better filter. you might aswell remove it altogether if your running a K+N

yeah they flow well but actual filtration is ****e.

i would go for an apexi one with the larger feed. but suppose it would depend on how much room you have.

Just get another 9" Fan, that should do the trick :thumb::p

i had to have a special size fitler, and only K&N did it in my size,
and its only there to stop flys and dirt being sucked into the turbo :p

Apexi are damned good filters, although they make a lot of noise... lol

The air would flow faster through the 2 x 1/5 " pipes compared to the 3".

What power are you expecting from your baby XE turbo Baxter?

twin/more small feeds are the way. a single big feed will jsut move the air slowly and make that hot too.
