Vinyl is **** and traps moisture=rust, standard rear lights look w?nk. I wanted black rear lights but can't get them for 6 week wait at the mo.

btw, smooth the lock off the handle, keep the vinal (or replace) half smoked rear lights and no wiper. phew.

Also you'd hope i was good at photoshop as i just got my HND to go with my BND in graphic design :thumb:

Convert the car to twin fog (wiring-wise), but use twin reverse clusters and LED bulbs. Problem solved :thumb:

Hi mate, think the euro style rear lamps and no vynil/wiper really suits it. Meh, who needs reversing lamps! I've seen the euro style lamps with the orange bit removed and then a black tinted piece put in, then the rest of the clusters deep red. The black/dark tint just breaks it up a bit, instead of it being full on red imo. Anway, just read the other thread start to finish, top motor!

I had mine Aug 1999 VPCC National Day. I had done them the night before. Andy Hill (White Sport XE???) was there parked next to A4 RAP (Richard Phelps Lotus Cavalier). It had "normal" euro lights back then, and it did when it was in Redline a few months later!!!! Check the REDLINE feature pic on page 10 on the "Old school" thread! You can see standard rear lights (Rick takes a bow!)

I had the tints when I was in REVS in early 2000 and they were the ONLY ones I'd seen. Brett W had some after, as did Martin Kelson and a few others.......

My suggestion would be clusters that look that they could be standard, but instead of each bulb use a spaced out led cluster like on some modern BMW's etc..
