a rough price

could somebody give me a rough price on how much i would be looking to pay for a full respray in metalic blue on a corsa.
all the work to be carried out by the bodyshop including prep work
(not many bodyshops round here so its a bit hard gettig a rough price)

one will do it for ?800 and nextdoor will do it for ?1600, simple, we can not tell you how much it will cost, due to everyone charges a diff price

1 - wheres round here? Prices in London for example are much higher than prices where I live (Scotland)

2 - what condition is the body work in? If the body shop have to do all the prep work it'll certainly add cost (especially if theres rust, needs dents levelled etc).

3 - metallic paint is usually more expensive so whats youre budget? you can get cheaper paint depending on the shade and manufacturer.

4 - how professional you want it done? Some shops will give the gat a basic rub down and a top clat and then lacquer (if youre lucky) for a couple hundred but you can guarantee it'll bubble/flake in a year. If you want a proper job done eg derusted, sealed, undented, sanded, primed in key areas and painted with 3 layers + 3 layers of lacquer and aim for unwards of ?1000+

Some body shops will reduce the cost if you prep it yourself however be warned - some will charge more for "fixing your mess".
