i have the usuall probleme of discs on the rear locking out so i need to drop the pressure to the rear. im puttin the v6 brakes on the front eniway but still want to drop the pressure. would the go stright on. ive seen some on ebay 3/30's look just the same as nova 1's but i didnt think out of them.:thumb:

dare i ask why youve bothered to fit discs on the back?

ok it looks "nice" but at the same time its a whore to setup right.
hell even CP is seriously considering going BACK to drums as the back end of a nova simply isnt heavy enough to justify discs.

Hi mate,

Do you run a single line to the back through a brake bias valve?

Only reason i ask is i run this set up and recently fitted a 3/30 valve to the back and the scrap yard i went to has the other one left that i didnt take.

I had great problem getting these so if you can get away with one i may be able to help.

There are lower numbers out there if you can find them 3/27 & 3/25 of Nova saloons i believe.

3/30 crop up on some 3 dr hatches & saloons & Cavs & Astras etc.

Its just a case of going to the breakers & looking.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the higher the 2nd number the more restrictive the valve is yes?

thats what i thought.higher the 2nd no the more restrictive the valve is. properly set up discs are well better than drums.

Hi,

Other way round. The lower the number the more restrictive it is.
I have a fax from Vauxhall with all the valves and whot output each give so definetly lower number less rear brakes.
