I've always thought Shark stuff to be bargain basement stuff... whats the specs on the amp and sub?

In a word no. It will power it but no where near to the potential it could.
Is the Sub dual voice coil?
if its the sub he was on aout last time round, no its no DVC
i thought sharks have a reputation of either being not as loud or breaking
neways nice amp
Had a quick google and can't find any listings that mention the RMS power figures. Not good... yes, its listed as 3200W, but that could be from adding up the figures of the 4 channels, and is peak power (so the amp can't continually reach that).
Also, the spec lists have things like "Circuit Protection" (a fuse), "Adjustable RCA Level Input and Output" (gain control), "Remote-on Power" (it has a remote wire to connect to the HU), "Inbuilt high speed fan for balanced temperatures" (it has a fan!).... i.e. basic amp features which any amp should include. Always be wary of "tech specs" which list basic stuff like fans, fuses, standard connections, etc as if they were something special!!

Basically mate, i'd throw it back through the window of whoever you bought it off and spend your cash on a decent amp, its really worth spending your money on proven brands, not only are there stats more realistic if by any chance it should go wrong they have much better returns policy.
That "2600w" shark amp is probably 300W real power.

If that, if you had to produce that much power from a reliable brand the amp would be huge, my recommendation would be an, alpine, dls, diamond etc
I wasn't far off, 380w :p
