GEAR LINKAGE against steering rack

Right engine progress is going well. The problem is that the gear linkage is hitting the steering rack when you go to put it in 1st, 3rd or 5th...

How do I get around this, is there something you do when putting a bigger engine in xe/let 1.8sv ;) etc.

Need to get around this problem so what do I need to do :cry: ?

How much extra space does flipping the plastic bit 180 degrees give you?

Could that be my problem? :confused:

flip it round mate it wont hit the rack then had same problem my self till some 1 pointed it out to me

Is it as simple as moving the plastic bit 180 degrees?
will it definatley move it away from the rack.
