rose joints

hi... my rose jointed tie bars are well shot and need to know if its possible to change just the joint?? i've been looking everywhere and can't seem to find them new ( i've found a set on rally used parts but really want new joints), thats as whole with the tie bars or just the joint.. can anyone point me in the right direction? i take it TAS are no longer in business as cant find them anywhere??

www.autosport-bearings.co.uk (http://www.autosport-bearings.co.uk) or very similar to that. you want two spherical bearings. you will need to take a bearing out and measure it up (od/id/width etc)

is there a lot of play in the joint then? as ive known of cars with them fitted for years that ahve little-no wear in them....

ok thanks guys.
yes there is alot of play in them. with the car sitting on the ground you can grab the wheel and wobble it in and out ( like it would be if the track rod end is shafted) but you can see the movement in the joint on the tie-bar.
these ones were second hand so i dont know of their history.
