imjust wondering if any one knows how to turn the tune the izuzu 1,5 td engine?
basically i want to turn the turbo up and have the rev limiter turned up aswell,any help welcome thanks

how do you know how far to turn the turbo up with out goin too far? my mate done it to an old rover or something and after a while it died.

its called 20psi and boost gauge lol

basically on a nova do the fuel pump mods and turn the fueling up then turn the boost up until the safety cut off valve just cuts in then tape it up, then your set at about 20psi which is safe then its just a case of fiddling with the fuel screw until you get the right amount of smoke lol

You'll need a boost gauge some tools and a manual boost controller to get the most out of it. Most see the power rise to just shy of 100bhp with these basic mods.

There is also some extra info on VXON for the 1.7TD, they are similar engines. If you fancy going the whole hog, how about trying to fit a Isuzu 3.1 turbo and intercooler lmao!

If you fancy going the whole hog, how about trying to fit a Isuzu 3.1 turbo and intercooler lmao!there is no point in fitting the 3.1 turbo as the standard one boosts 20 psi all day quite happily which is as much as i would ever run and as for an intercooler its easy to strap one on but you do loose the kick you get without one
