Are spax dampers and the like any shorter to cope with smaller springs? As my springs keep dislocating so i need to find shorter dampers to stop this, look in wanted section also:thumb:

Some of them are shorter. Most obvious/affordable ones that spring to mind are GMax. They are sold seperately so you could get rears or whatever ya need 1st.

I only need the rear ones as ive already got crappy gmax dampers on the front anyway, only ive just lowerd it 60 (was 40) and now the springs are loose and i need to solve the problem:confused:

You could fit travel straps between the beam & chassis leg. Use a strip of old seatbelt to stop the beam dropping too far.

Good idea, is there any sporty/rally bits for that out there? and would i just bolt the other end to the chassis?

Chassi leg. Use some M8 stainless bolts & penny washers to get a firm hold on the belt material & look good.

Hmmmmm, could i use anythin other than old seatbelts? Lol, you done this before by any chance? May be a bit cheeky but anyone got any pics or diagrams?:confused:

Not on a Nova but you get the picture. You need summat pretty strong & some old seatbelt would be the cheapest & easiest to come by.

Really helpful craig cheers, so the strap would go in pretty much the same place on a nova you rekon?

Yeah could do. Heres a possibly easier way. You might want to run it by an MOT tester before you go & carry out these mods only to find it still wont pass.

Hmmm think the strap idea is easier, although id rather just have shorter dampers, surely you can get them with a -60mm kit anyway
