W.I.P sleeper/euro nova [56k no no]

righty, firstly i bought the base for my project off ebay a few months back for the costly sum of 62 pounds :D

1 red 1.2 mk1 3door hatch;

then i bought a full cally leather interior (ebay hunting again) for the pricey sum of 41 pounds ;

last week i bought a conversion mount and 22 spline shafts and brand new c.v's off ANDYRACER from on here (hint hint to the conversion);)

and then yesterday i travelled down to stafford to pick up the engine off peester that shall shortly take home in the bay;

so over the next few weeks it should all be bolted up,

then next on the to buy list is; 80-90mm drop on coilovers and some r10 ronal turbos :D

yea mike the car was a steal at the price i got it for, the story was;

i saw the car on ebay so messeged the guy offering ?150 outside of ebay and i would collect the following day, but he refused saying he would let the auction run its cause. so i patiently waited, and eventually got the winning bid with ?62. got there and he had a for sale sign in the window (from trying to sell it locally before ebay) for ?500 o.n.o lol it was/is only a 1.2 but has front door capings, rear arch carpet, basically GTE spec interior (bar the leccy windows, and the fact its beigey brown :tard: )

the XE conversion will be done as soon as ive bolted all the engine back together,

also rexy's just popped down and knicked one of my 22spline shafts for a week or two, (to get his beasty saloon back on the road) :thumb:

i've just read rexys post about the drive shaft lol , bet the blokes kicking himself after the nova selling for just 60odd quid.

yep the white ones mine aswell (albeit with a seized 1ltr), the original plan was to buy the red one solely for its engine and drop it into the white one, but the shell is too good, so the engine out of my red un (1.2) is gonna live in the white one (now my girlfreinds)

next few days will include cleaning up the bay and giving it a lick of paint (new colour) ready for the 1.2 to be dropped in there
