best to drill the holes and use the proper mounts
lol, iff you use no more nails it would probably fall off, the first time you shut the tailgate, those spoilers aren't that light remember.

Would drill and bolt on but if this is not possible I recommend Sikaflex, we use this at work and it won't fall off in a hurry!
see link for doing it properly - I recommend you do it correctly as if iut did come off it could cause serious damage to whatever it hit.
Sikaflex is excellent bonding material and would do the job but for extra strength take the paint back to bare metal - same with the spoiler (to bare resin) - this will give really strong bond as if u bond it to paint it'll just crack and come away under pressure.
DO NOT USE NO MORE NAILS OR SILICONE SEALER. If you do use a bonding adhesive use the right stuff!

I remember you saying about that! lol
If you can i would drill holes and bolt it on.
I did, mines been on fine for about 8months now.
I really doubt tigerseal/sikaflex would hold it, its quite suprising how heavy they are.
