Fitting GSi front bumpers

I am try ing to swop my GTE front bumper for a GSi one and have followed the guide on TopBuzz, I have bought new bumper irons but my bumper carrier doesn't seem to have the extra square holes for them as mentioned, what year did vauxhall introduce this version?

whilst were on the subject do i need different clips that hold the plastic part of the bumper to the clips that hole them to the bumper carrier?

as far as I know only because I have done this to mine you just take off the bracket that goes along the bumper and place it over some like little clips and you have to knock these down over the bracket and then put the bumper on (it might catch at the bottom so just lift it over the metal)and then just bolt it on at the sides to the wing.
