Carbon bonnet?

does anybody know were i can get an oem spec carbon fibre bonnet for nova from av been lookin for ages with no luck at all

you wont get an oem one (original equipment manufacturer) because vaushall never made carbon bonnets for novas.

You want an after market one and you'll br hard pushed to find one. best thing to do it get one made up.

oem spec.... I presume he means an exact copy of the standard bonnet.

The last person i heard of havong one "made" cost him night on ?600!!

It was on ebay a few months back along with a fearless cage

The bloke i deal with for one off fibre glass and carbon parts will do me a very nice deal on one. And i mean a Very Nice Deal!:thumb:

How much lighter are they compared to a std bonnet? I'm assuming you still need all the strengthening cross members underneath?

How about an aluminium one... You can get carbon ones for the GT4s, but they're not much lighter than the std alu ones lol

what about fiberglass. i know you can get fiberglass bonnets and tailgates/bootlids. a lot cheaper,widely available and about the same weight

yeah a fibreglass one would do ive seen a brand new one for ?140 but i dont no if this is dear or not
