would a astra 1.3 weber carb fit on to my 1200 nova
i know i would have to change inlet but would i get any more power or should i get some t40's on her instead

on a std 1.2, there wouldn't be any great benefit it would be better to fit the whole engine. I used to run a rebored 1300 (1400cc using 1200 pistons +std 1200 head&cam) with the std 1200carb & it flew.

No, 1300 has a twin choke carb.
Better than 1200 carb.

You could fit a 1300Sr inlet and carb to your 1200.

ive done it get a 1.2 carbed head on it get it skimmed aswell tha 1.3 sr carb ul notice the differnce
