the insurance will be the same as a 1.4 16v corsa so when you insure it say the engine is out of the lowest group 1.4 16v corsa you can find

as for fitting it will fit straight in using the same mounts etc and only probs will be wiring and fuel lines

It is a straight swap pretty much m8. I have looked into the same swap for my SRi too. You already have the correct fuel tank and pump fitted so its just the wiring.
I asked Bernie last time i was Novatech about fitting it for me. He said if i gave him my car and the Corsa engine and the corsa loom he would fit it for ?500. :)

?500 is a ripoff, its not much of a job! U already have 90% of wot is need except for the engine and wiring!
Get the loom and the engine and ur sorted! Make sure ur exhaust will fit! U may need to buy a new manifold or system!!

Well i personally would pay it coz i ain't gonna start hacking about bits of my loom without a clue what i am doing and would prefer it if the wiring didn't catch fire or something.

Go to an ordinary Garage and pay less than half! It is such a piss easy job, and it could be done in about a 7 hour day. Thats like ?70 an hour!

Whoopass! :D
