going to buy a dremel and polish up the exhast ports, and leave the inlet ports as they are.

will has sorted me out with a head gasket set and brand new cam carrier and rocker cover. whats needed to fit a cam in the cam carrier?

what else is needed to fit?!? can i only get head studs from vaux?

looking for a rally cam, and possibly solid lifters.

Nice.

What have you had done?

If you use a dremel on the exhaust ports now, all grit etc is going to enter the ports and the valves when you run the head? Depends if you'll be able remove it all with the valves fitted.

i see what you mean. the ports have been ported as you would expect being a blydenstein head. i want the inlet slightly rough and the exhaust mirror finish.

i had the head skimmed, bead blastered, valves re-ground and new seals fitted.
