i ve been told cobra suzukas are to high to fit in nova an they hit the roof
is this correct?
is there a way to modify the subframes so they sit lower ?
are tilting an fixed subframes the same height ?

Chop the subframe till the seat fits, thats what i had to do lol

And yes, tilters will be higher than fixed.

is it still possible to fit tilts if the subframe has to be chopped ?

If its a fixed seat, they will be useless anyway as the seat will hit the roof before any sort of useful gap appears lol

ye they are fixed so putting them on tilting subframes wont really achieve much even if the seat is pushed forward then tilted ?

Anyone got any tips on getting my corbeau revolutions in?

best bet just to weld box sections in?

Correct, as the seat is so high, you'll only be able to lift it a couple of inches before it hits the roof.

right this is my plan buy the universal tilting adaptors from demon tweeks (there basically a big hinge the seat fits on).
use some standard nova sub frames an attach the tilters too them .
i am a right in thinking standard nova frames are much lower than cobra ones?
can anyone see any problems with my idea ?

The only way youll get them to tilt is to sit effectively on the floor, in which case you wont be able to see over the steering wheel! I chopped mine down to that point and it got silly so i had to replace them!

Just strip the back out and you kill two birds with one stone. Better seats and much less weight!

i think the nova subframes are lower than the cobra ones (they look it in the pics)so there should be more room between the roof an top of seat .

i dont want to strip the back because i have calibra leather back seat an cobra bucket seats trimmed in leather to go in the front

Yeah they hit the roof lol...

I welded two bars into mine tho, and bolted the seat to that. it sat at the right height for me.

i ve spoke to lad who had a total vauxhall featue nova he fitted cobra suzukas an there was loads of room between the top of seat an roof .
he said he had to chop the corners off the subframes (before he did this the seats hit the roof)does this make sense i am waiting for my subframes to arrive so cant look at them
