port/polish/skim 1400 head or get 1300 head?

i have a 1400 cylinder head in the garage and was wondering what i could do with it before fitting it (my current head is on its way out - valve stem oil seals?)

im contemplating a port and polish and a hefty skim

or would it be better to just get a 1300 head?

any other input would be great

better value to do all that to a 1300 head...

but it depends what your doing for fuelling...

its a standard 1400SR so mech feul pump etc etc

Use either 40s
or standard carb on a 1300 inlet with 1300 head.
the 1400sr head is as ghey as ghey.Lol
