rough price??

hi im looking to take my car to a private mechanic and have the engine taken out and rebuilt. also next to him there is a body shop so what im thinkin of doin is having engine taken out and evrything on car completely stripped and then getting him to spray it for me. what do you think its gonna cost?? i know its down to the mechanic and the sprayer but if you have had a similar thing done what did it cost???

Save your self some money and do as much as you can yourself.
