they look tacky coming to a saxo near you
Jap style on a very Euro wheel.... hmmmm
Those wheels are best left without carbon, in the eighties, on a R5 turbo 2.
They're different though. I saw a set of matt black ones with a polished rim at VW NORTHWEST last week at tatton park but i didn't take a pic. :-<

hmm, undecided on them, ^^ shame you didnt take a pick as i can imagine them looking quite smart in black with polished rim
Yuk.. with a capital Y!
Wonder how long the carbon coating will stay on.. hmm

This aint new wheels, they are only customised. The owner polished them put pulver on them and coated them in carbon look. This is a method called "dip print". It's a foil in carbon look wich gets bondet with the pulvered metal.
The look seems to be ok, but you must like it to drive it.
Nothing for me.
Different I suppose, lol each to their own lol

Breeny said how long this carbon coating will stay on. Parts wich was maid by this "Dip print" method are able to work under pressure. But i would to prefer original carbon. Much more expensive but real.
