Hazard switch

Whislt preparing my car for the MOT, with help from my grandad, he tells me that the hazard light switch needs to be pushed and pop out, at the minute ive taken the springs out so that it stays in, therefore when you push it, it does nothing! it has to be pulled out, so will this pass the MOT anyway? Or will i have to replace it?

Just tell the MOT tester how to operate it - my saloon failed on the hazard switch (which was the same, pull off, push on) so I showed him how it worked and he passed the car there and then!

I've modded my switch and it passed fine.
It works much better than originally imo.

Depends where in Wiltshire you are, I'm all the way down the bottom of Somerset :D

Hmmmm im right next to somerset, i could literally walk there! right on the border i am:p

Called dilton-marsh, near Frome - where jenson button grew up or some famous f1 driver i dunno!!! and someone in the pits something like that!

If only i could drive we could do a south west meet:(
