Been offered some second hand TB's for my c16xe lump!! Done 2500miles what you lot think snatch there hand of or sit and see what else pops up because im in no great rush for my prodject!!

XE Jenvey Bodies
42mm TB's for c16xe complete with everything needed,
Inlet manifold,
Trumpets,
Airfilters,
Coilpack,
FPR,
Throttle cable,
TPS,
loom,
Brand new emerald ecu which they've spent over ?350 having mapped, (on the rollers)
Ecu is still under warrenty,
Lowering bracket for the alternator so it doesn't hit the bodies!
There 6 hour round trip for me to pick up?

They want ?900

Worth It?? :confused:

Its not sale of the century, but it is worth it I reckon. The bodies new would set you back about ?500, plus another ?550 for the ECU at a guess.
I paid ?250 for two twin 40mm TB's that I'll be using on my honda engine. All the other bits soon add up too - ?40 for the TPS, inlet manifold probably ?100 or more (Jenvey's own ones can be upto ?180). Trumpets and filters I got off eBay for about ?30 in total. Even the Jenvey throttle linkages are a bloomin fortune - I've "made" one from some more ebay-tastic bits and bobs !! :)

i sold my tb and ecu along with everything to get car running for 1600 quid mate!
