Cleaning Calipers

Hello, im in the middle of fixing/doing up my car, and ive noticed that where i have used it for months im gettin this kinda fur sh!t growing on the calipers.......is there a special cleaner or house hold stuff that will remove it and make become restored back to its original shineyness?? :)

i thnk i remember someone saying on here they cleaned calipers ith cillit bang and it was pretty good, not 110% tho

lmfao yeah, that was me. My mate used it on his GTi-6, prior to painting them. We tried all sorts of stuff that wouldn't clean them, so the Cillit Bang was a last resort really but worked rather well!

Just make sure not to spooge it all across the discs and pads..!
