Its the first time ive ever used Megs as i ussully use autoglym. Is their any other good polish/wax that you know of and use?

Megs all the way for me; this is the results of their 3-step restore/polish/was on my rear bumper:

You could style the hairs on your legs in that finish Jack.

Megs step 1 paint restorer; iirc - unlike Turtle Wax, Auto Glym etc - its not a cutting compund so doesn't chop off a layer of paint, but still brings the colour out nicely. My bonnet suffers from badly faded paint and the paint restorer brings it up perfect.

Follow up with step 2 polish and step 3 wax.

are any of these any good?

TURTLEWAX 'COLOR BACK' CAR PAINT RESTORER

TURTLE WAX: HEAVY DUTY PAINT RESTORER

They will do the job but wont be the best of finishes. Turtlewax is a budget range of polish etc. so the finish isnt the best. I found out you get what you pay for.

Jack-Ive seen some of that 3step megs on ebay and the total price for all 3 steps is about ?20-25. is this a good price? after seeing yours i want to do mine :D lol

You'll need a wax on top as well to protect the paint.

Wilson, yep IMO Megs is the best stuff you can get. I've spent over ?100 on Megs bits and bobs recently, a lot of money but its quality stuff and you only need a small bit of each to get good results - the polishes, washes, waxes, etc that I've bought should last me for donkeys years.

I've used Mer car polish (square blue bottle) with pretty good results, but the finish from the Meguiars stuff looks incredible on both cars, especially Razorjack's. I'm sure the quality of the paintjob is better on Razorjack's car than my Nova though!!

Erm, not really, Toyota paint is ar*e! Hence why my bonnet has real problems with paint fade and I have to keep restoring it!!
