finally popped my filler cherry today !! bootlid had a few rust spots under the rubber so sealed them, also the 6 holes where the old GTE wrap around spoiler was anchored to it !

also made a start on the bumper which had cracked where the old number plate used to go (at least its removed eh rexy lol ) even gave it 2 skims as the first didnt look good enough !

also opened the box with my wiring loom in, looks more complicated than it is, although why do vauxhall insist in putting that sticky crap on cables ! decided im going to make a complete new loom but still using the same colours. id have to write a new wiring diagram if i changed anything

very slowly, although working 7 days a week doesnt help !! the loom looks pretty easy to copy tbh ade, theres a company near me that does every sort of cable colours needed

if you ever need cable/connectors etc try http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk/VWPweb2000/homepage/home.html

im more comfortable re-wiring the car plus all my little extras than i am filling a tiny scuff on my boot !

im gonna be throwing all my energy into this and will get a potent track car out of it which will will also be noticed on club stands next show season

Sounds like your gonne get stuck right in there mate.

I've always thought its fairly easy to do a show car or a track weapon but doing both is pretty hard.

Finding time to work on my nova is a nightmare.. I've driven it 4 times in 2 and a half years.

went over to my shell this morning, began with removing the sound deadning (sp??) and wasnt looking forward to it !! got started, tapped with a slim chisel and lump hammer and............... up came a huge piece lol took me less than half an hour to get it up from the front :p although ive still got to clean the floor but that shouldnt take long with a wire brush drill bit thingy (technical term) couldnt help but smile while i was doing it thinking of everyone whos ever struggled !! must be the hot weather here in ilkeston lol

also found that the guy before me had cut the seat rails out (and not the best job) for his buckets so im going to make a proper job of that later, just got to find someone to sort the welding out or buy 1 and let my mate loose on it !!

hopefully will be at the bodyshop by the end of the month  just need to make a start on the door handles but i might tackle them tonight

and i only cut myself once !!!
