alrite mate i was lookin at ur car and mine basically the same spec exept i av the bldenstien b+ head kent cam and various other bits i also got a set of twin 40's can u tell me ur jets size size of ur emultion tubes venturi size etc cause ive been told i gotta get me carbs rejetted and wanna c how much im out by the jettin + ive bin told ny venturi's are to big and lettin in to much air there 32mm venturis do u think these are to big also its a 1.4 engine 2 cheers if u can help mate.

I`ll try and find all of my jet sizes, but I can tell ya that my chokes are 30mm. 32mm will give ya slightly more top end power, but you`ll loose all of ya torque at the bottom. Phone Burton`s on 0208 554 2281, and ask them the same question, and they`ll calculate the optimum size jets. Thats what I did, and when I had it on some rollers, the only jet that wasn`t right, was the idle which had to be increased one size.
