195's are for 6.5 inch wheels
i think its 225's you are looking for

You want 205 or 215 I'd say; I've got 225s on mine which are 8" wide and the tyres are a tad fat. 195 will be a bit too much of a stretch IMO...

the calcluater here: http://www.chris-longhurst.com/carbibles/tyre_bible.html

states that 195 45 15s will suit 6.5x15s up to 8x15s..

obviously there would be little rim protection and the tyre would look very stretched.

i aint bein a pikey at all. i need to get some new tyres and at the moment i have 215's on there but wanna go smaller to help with clearence issues. just by looking i know 205's will go on easy but i recon 195's may stretch on

195 45 15 will go on, they are the wideest rims you can fit this tyre to according to the T1 r section of Toyo's catalogue. If you have 16" wheels you can also only just fit a 195 45 16, but it WILL go on.

I had 195 on 7J 16s, but i was told that was pushing it and i should of had 205s on.
So on 7 1/2J i'd go with 205s.
