Are there any differences between the GTE and GSI calipers ???

Dont think so, but not 100% sure.

i think the GTE ones are Delco and the GSi ones are by ATE

toatally diffrent design
the gsi callipers are like baby brother asra 16v stuff in design and the nova gte callipers are the same as standerd mk1 nova calipers with a wider bolt in peice to acomidate the vented discs
if u have a choice ov 2 go for gsi as the gte stuff is shit
u can upgrade standerd to gte stuff with out changing callipers!

the reason I asked is because I have got a GTE and I have been offered GSI calipers.

Look at the Haynes Manual - that shows the difference.
BTW, the GTE calipers also have a larger diameter piston than the standard MKI callipers, as well as the 10mm longer holding frame.

Npot worth bothering to change them realy, put the money aside for a valver brake conversion.
