I read on here a while back of couriers that would take up to 25Kg for 12 or 15 quid anyone got any details?

parcel2go are "ok" but they are a little lax on the pickups....

They've always arrived for pickups when i've used them, only thing is one time i paid for next day delivery, and it took them a week deliver the item. Lol

Refund!!!!!

Just incase anyone uses parcelforce...

Any timed deliveries that are late entitle you to a full refund.
Any 24 hour deliveries that take longer than 24 hours you are entitled to a 75% refund of the cost.
Any 48 hour deliveries that take longer than 48hours you are entitled to a 50% refund of the cost.

This is detailed in the very very small print on the back of the document.
Very rarely do people claim for this because they dont even realise the offer is there.

Drivers are instructed to fail 48 hour deliveries over anything else so make sure you track when your parcel was signed for.

Also... if your sending stuff abroad then don't bother putting it on an economy service. This can take up to a month for your parcel to be delivered. Basically what happens is when the parcels are sorted they go to a storage depot and are held in a massive container. Only when this container is completely full are the parcels shipped over seas. This means your economy parcel could be the first in the container and take ages or be the last in and only take a few days.

If I was you I would never ever start using parcel2go, I send multiple parcels every day of varying sizes and I was let down by parcel to go on pickups and deliveries so many times its unreal.

I now use www.interparcel.co.uk (http://www.interparcel.co.uk)

They always pick up and deliver next day anything up to 25kgs for 12.80 iirc when you send a few parcels with them they let you become a member and I now pay 12.27 for parcels weighing 21kgs and 11.15 for parcels weighing 20kgs or less.

I use interparcel as well, never had a problem with them, they even collected something that weighed 35KGS from me

I've pushed the limits of DHL.
Max length 4ft, i sent a steering rack box, was a bit over 4ft, well a bit as in a foot and half longer,lol.
They said nothing.

I managed to send 2 wheels per parcel.
So it cost me about ?20 to send 4 wheels.
Think they were over weight tho,Lol.

Borrow your mum or girlfriends scales and use them to weigh them.

i dont have any 16" alloys to weigh, if i did have some id have them on my car instead of my 17's
