Help !

My nova is due to be painted this week after months of sitting in the garage, so when its back i want to get it built back up asap.

The problem being -

The car started life as a 1.0, then onto a 1.6i then a 2.0 8v i, I'm looking for either a 1.3 or 1.4 sr engine to put in it when its back.

Which is the better engine to start with ?

And....

As it's had the fuel tank changed to fit the Mpi engines previously, will i need to change back to fit the sr engine ?

I don't think there's too much difference between the 1.3 and 1.4.
You could build a replica sport 1.3 engine.. now that would be nice.

get the 1.4 sri, but use a corsa engine, more power as standard ;)
