View Full Version : I'm stuck...
I really wanted to go euro with the saloon, but i like the sleeperish look way to much.
So I'm not sure what wheels to go for :(
Any suggestions or photoshops?

If you want to go euro, how about some 13s, wide as poss with coilovers? Your cav rims look good so why not have em chrome painted or similar and get some seriously small section tyres for them, then drop it as low as it'll go.

What engine do you have mate?
My exhaust used to be like that on my old saloon I had to weld some extra pipe on to make it long enough to fit out of the back.
What about some clean astra gte alloys?
slam it...

an mabie get the cav rims polished??? :wtf: :thumb:
Dont know how much you want to pay on new wheels but my mate has just got some 14inch wheels for his golf that are 7inch wide made by image they would look smart on the saloon.:p
Weller steels, chrome finish? not sure if the make Vaux wheels in the right offset, they may just be for old RWD Vauxhalls.

Have a think about how your gonna drive the car?
If its gonna be driven hard I wouldn't lower it too much.
Ade's photoshop does look awesome though.
IMO the lairy colour doesn't really aid the sleeper image... but it looks better on the cav wheels. Would anthracite wheels suit?
I totally agree, its not a total Sleeper. But at the same time, you wouldnt expect it to have power either. I'm going to dothe original plan and euro it. I've stayed away from driving the saloon on country roads. So guess im going to have to buy ANOTHER nova now :P
he he he
get the sri steelies banded onto to wider rims gaz :thumb:

How about paint the cav rims black and have silver/polished rim?
get the sri steelies banded onto to wider rims gaz :thumb:
yep iv seen this done before, it looks damn good!!!
as for the saloon, euro and slam it!!!
Why not run a 15" wheel with a 165/45/15" tyre S-T-R-E-T-C-H-E-D across it and slam the f3cker into the weeds
Standard SR wheels.....decked!!!
you know it make sense rexy;)
ATS Cups or classics, borbert type a's, ronal turbos, schmidt th-lines (and
colour code the centre) widened steelies, porsche wheels, bbs RM's, braid,
mooneyes, brock b1's - i could go on
Also have it higher at the back..... i feel a photoshop coming on.

Ohhhh yes... that looks ace. I wonder what the arch extensions are, I feel some more bodywork is to be carried out :)

Those extensions might be Ford.
How about seeing if Fiesta XR2 extensions would fit?
Golf ones do i think.
matt, thats an idea actually fella. Big bumper arches from a golf, they would need the side skirts to match and some form of bumpers to work properly tho.

I reckon they'd work ok with a GSI or GTE fron as long as the arches aren't too wide.
As for the rear...... who knows, thats the only problem with a saloon.
Butchering a Vectra rear bumper might be the only option.
