help my car is poorly

Today i took my van for a ride, but she wasnt right keeps loosing rmp.
and cutting out idle speed is low, leading to conking out :confused:

smell of fuel. i have checked oil plugs dizzy ect??
any ideas :cry:

i am thinking maybe IAC valve

smell of fuel...is is leaking from somewhere - pump etc.

Stick newspaper under it and then start it up - leave for a few secs then roll back and check for stains...

yeah i was thinkin Idle Control valve until you mentioned the strong petrol smell, do as above, and check for perished pipes etc aswell

hi yeah there are no leaks detected, it was just that day when i tried to fire it up, smell has gone now, its running a bit rich though maybe thats why, there was the smell. seems so have calmed down a bit now, may have stuck?? its only been on about 5 mnth
see how it goes thats all i can do at this stage..
