it sold for 2500 as far as im aware, not that long ago, apart from the paint what exactly has made such a price difference, not having a go just curious

^^ Its a different car though mate? Its got Martin Hills engine in but Martins was an F Reg if i remember right? where as this is a K Reg, but i agree, ?4800 is alot for an XE no matter how clean?

yeah, i think the shell is probably different, well thats what nick said last time i spoke to him. Still its got the same spec?

Not sure then unless its because its recently been sprayed etc. and tryin to redeem some of the money spent on it, either way im willing to help! lol As above, would your mate sell or swap or part ex the black speedlines??

Dont think he will mate,its too much of a mess around,he has put it up for sale as a baby is on the way.

Its a different car to martin hills,my mate stripped that ,took all the bits off he wanted to make a minter (as in something to his own spec)

Shell is minter and has been undersealed etc etc etc

I cant go into great detail thio as it int really my car.

Alrite guys, As stated by novamadman my old car (martin hills) was sold to a friend who basically stripped it and only used the engine, brakes, suspension and wheels plus a few other small bits and transferd it all to a k plate shell that is absolutely stunning all the necessary chassis, engine bay mods have been carried out to a very high standard, I was looking round it at work the other day for a while and I guarantee you will not find better its like its just rolled out of the showroom! Ive now put my tvr up for sale and if it sells Im going to buy it myself! regards.

Yeah it's been re-shelled. The old shell looked mint on the outside but needed loads of work

Surprised he's seling it so soon. He only got it in May didn't he?

TBH I think ?4800 is expensive when you could probably build one for that kinda money, and when compared to Br*tt's old car sold for under ?8000 with extras or Nick Caro's for sale at ?6995....

Hope an enthusiast buys it and keeps it around!
