Is there a difference in the Nova's that much that all the strut braces are different? Or fit differently? And which rear ones better, the bolt on or the 1 that requires drilling?

All fit the same.
The rear ones that are drilled/bolted or welded to the struts are best.

As a metal bar bolted to rubber suspension mount isn't going to stiffen much.

Depending on the engine you might need a strut brace that curves around the right way to fit around it.

You'll need to drill to fit a bolt on one, or did you mean welding? If you're stripping out the interior and/or caging it, I'd weld one in place, if not then I'd fit a bolt in one incase I changed my mind and needed to use the boot.

yer glad someone knows what they're on about, and is it true that you might need a different one if you put k and n on 1.4 carb?

Get one that has like a bend in it for a SR.
Not one that goes straight across.

I think that might hit the airbox/K&N.

If you look at demon tweeks etc, most braces for SR's are the ones with a bend in, not straight like that one /\

really? my bro said it just means i can't keep my k & n but normal box should be ok, will have to wait and find out. Demon-Tweeks ain't bringing up anything - problem, any other websites?

http://www.strutbracer.co.uk/tables/vauxhall.htm lists for a 1.4 so i thought there wouldn't be a difference
