T40's rough price

Hi there, im hopefully going to get some T40's in the next 3 months for my 1300sr.

Wat sort of price should i be looking at for everything i need, not new !

Any ideas?

Look on ebay, its totally down to finding bargains really second hand, Colin Smith sold a complete Nova Sport set up a few weeks back i think which went for a few hundred quid.

I paid ?180 for my carbs, ?60 for a brand new irmy inlet, then you gotta get linkage etc (if it didnt come with carbs) and possibly fuel pump and reg, if you are doing it properly.

Also remember that to get them running correctly a RR session is best, and isnt cheap lol

Yeh thats why i said within the next 3 months, as ive got a few full time job interviews lined up lol.....

Buying them isnt the problem, just make sure that when you are putting them on, you can get it on the rollers asap, as you will benefit from it in the long run, trust me lol

Just one thing, i guess if you are doing more to your engine, it would be wise to put the carbs on last, then get them set up once

ive had the head skimmed, ported and polished, kent fast road cam, vernier pulley, straight thru custom performance infinity exhaust, filter, gettin new 4 branch next month.....

i paid ?132 for the carbs and ?80 for the manifold, but the carbs need about ?60 in parts (chokes, linkages, etc)
