View Full Version : Corsa power steering.
Does anyone know what mods have to be done to a corsa electric power steering unit, so that it can be fitted to a nova? Different people have said that you have to get the ecu remapped, which will set me back about ?200, and others have said that you can get round that with switches and a variable resistor.
If anyone can enlighten me or even better has a wiring diagram, I would be greatful.
Cheers

there isnt any mods to be made to the colum apart from the two spot welds above the universal joint. drill the welds out and once u have the unit in place weld it again, it just needs to b made slightly longer to slide on the the rack behind the bulk head. no need for remaps or switches. ill have a look at mine and get back to ye on the wiring diagram

Just to save you money m8, i went down the scrap yard and got mine out of a corsa. Just look round and you are bound to find one in good condition.
Thanks Wings.
Did you have to do any electrical modifications to install it?

fella on migweb (Dom) makes a pulse modifier, for around ?50, suitable for EPAS columns, digi dashes, and may other fantastic uses.
