So I've been playing around with a few ideas for colours.
I thought I'd settled on a Gun Metal colour but now I'm thinking maybe I should go for Jamaica Yellow.

I used to have a Jamaica Yellow five door and I absolutely love this colour.

The thing is I have a black and grey leather retrim to fit and I'm a bit concerened that the grey will look out of place. Now it does seem to be a very good match for the grey dash.

Opinions?

I was thinking that for the following reasons...

1) Jamaica yellow is a vaux colour.. the gun metal I've got samples of is a Ford polar grey with pearlescent lacquer.
2) Jamaica yellow is a rare colour.
3) Yellow cars go faster :D

Wouldn't have thought the grey interior bits would be out of place, I think they'd go quite well with the yellow.

Personally I prefer Mustard yellow though....

I'll have to scan a pic of the old 5 door... it had light brows so no piss taking please.

I would probably say the yellow, as it would be nice to see a rare original coloured Nova !

I think after much thought that the new interior will look quite nice aswell !

I couldn't possibly spray my wheels anthracite or gun metal.
They're brand spankers and one of the last sets made.

I'd say do the exterior in Jamaica Yellow & have the eng bay & interior floor & boot done in gunmetal ala touring car teams etc.

I'd even say Do the bottom half in J Yellow & the top of the wings & upwards in Gunmetal. Not a fan of two tones but that could work really well & would allow the interior trim to tie in really well.
