Will my 5 door shed be worthy of the sleeper catagory if I put a 1.4 SR engine in it then?

Yes i feel that would be good, though the cars so nice i dont wanna rip anything original off. I have people saying they thought it was an XE, which is why they didn't try it on in there RS Turbo's lol

Lol!!, daves is the best sleeper i've seen for ages! Totally standard body work, only the 15's giving a hint at performance to hide the brakes required to haul this thing to a stop!!! He's recently stripped the interior for safety issues but i think he ran a 12.9 at pv this year. Cracking car imo.

I find it funny that some cars don't manage 60mph in 12 odd seconds, never mind a quarter mile lol

lol, not just for safety, he wanted a cage to stiffen her up a bit and make it handle better on track. Some ****er reversed into it with a truck thisafternoon, so hes getting the arches rolled. Hes not said anything, but im hoping its going to recieve some coilovers and cut slicks now :)

John

ok on track safety then lol lol . can't believe some t**t has reversed into it, the bodywork was mint! Bet he's none too chuffed.
Yep i've seen the thread on pvg entitled "hydraulics" pmsl!!:D Does need some co's, i agree with you there.

My mate had a sleeper, unfortunately i don't have any pics, but it still looked like a 1.2 Spin, only the Cav rims giving it any sign of modification, but having 170bhp XE under the bonnet. If i can find pics i will, because it looked **** lol, but that was the point ;)

Sorry Lyf lol

Thats why I think my shed 5 door would be perfect as a warm sleeper with an SRi block or GSi block. Max power mod guide for Novas states that 5 doors aren't cool. Imagine the face of an oh-so-cool 3 door Saxo driver being owned by a ****ty standard looking 5 door on 14 inch steelies!!

Phil sutton had an XE'd 5 door, didn't look 'uncool'

Just a bit of ally - Then sprayed it with some satin tough paint. At the sprints you see some of them with a bit of sprayed batton attached to the front of the car:roll:

I will upload a better one as well as a piccy of the diffuser off of the car if you like.

EDIT: Found some already hosted as well

Its not really for downforce but rather to let the air that would have been trapped by the rear bumper out the back of the car cleanly as well as decreasing the lift effect that this has.
