Am i alone in thinking that NL can be very clicky some times i been se the great forums now for over a year i think and nevr get much of a responce on posts of threads?

no really they arnt to bad , just depends how local you are to other members and how many meets shows you get to as to meet some members

e.g they are loads local to me , rexy , sean , ste , lee h , novataka, andyracer , nick and a few others aswell so we all know each other quite well and get together a lot for meets and a meal in pub etc

also i have been to a few mk meets pv shows etc and then get to meet up woth the rest , chris , dan ,stu, will, ben etc etc

i went to that Bloody cold MK meet last year. can't rember any body name and match to face's though. i think staurt was there in a manky 205. some very nice guy scared the life out of me in a red valver. but i forgot his name LOL romer of a another MK meet would be good to get another chance to name (screennames)to faces

its worse when the cars off the road (or carnt drive like me) as you cant get to any meets/pints with folk, ill be all over the country next year tho so everyone had better watch out !

Yep i'm new too and know what you mean. Sometimes it's easier if you can put a face to a name like you say.

I dont think Novaload's cliquey - yeah you get some threads where the usual suspects will talk about stuff they are familiar with (1st name terms, etc) but like Riggy said its just because they see each other. I've made an effort to get to Trax a couple of times and met some of the lads and had a right laugh - when me novas back on the road I'll be able to make more of an effort (hopefully).

Also - if you post "useful" stuff or funnies etc people start to respect you for your knowledge/humour/banter...

Odd how I joined in 2003 after lurking for a while, didn't really post much.... left... came back to sell my Novas in Dec '04/Jan '05 and now feel more at home after selling them. And still wishing I hadn't sold the saloon and looking for another one... lol
